Oran Park Hotel Plans First Stage Soft Opening Mid-Year

After construction began in late 2021, the new Oran Park Hotel is scheduled to finally open its doors within a few months. The anticipation for this new venue has grown as we’ve watched the site transform into what will be one of the largest hospitality venues in Sydney.

Opening in two stages, the main ground floor will open mid-year, in a “soft opening”, while the upper levels will open in the months following that.

The Hotel’s creators are looking to provide a venue for the community, a “space for people to meet, dine, and make memories”.

The Hotel will contain many dining options, including the traditional pub favourites in the main bistro, as well as burgers and pizzas. The “Papi’s Pizza” pizzeria will be your go-to spot for delicious oven-fired pizzas with both traditional and arti
sanal toppings.

At the vibrant outdoor rooftop bar, “Jinja”, visitors and their guests will find a full bar, including cocktails both old and the new Oran Park Hotel signature drinks. The Jinja will also house a traditional dumpling house offering authentic handmade dumplings.

The indoor and outdoor spaces will cater for all occasions, including weddings and all other formal events. The sports bar will be equipped with multiple screens, a place where you can also spend time with friends playing pool and darts.

In addition to these spaces, there will be plenty of family friendly entertainment options, including two boutique cinemas and an indoor soft play equipment area for the children.

Breaking of the ground at Oran Park Hotel

We are excited to announce the breaking of the ground of Oran Park Hotel, located at the intersection of Dick Johnson Drive and Central Avenue, Oran Park.

The sod turning ceremony which took place on Tuesday 9th November, marks the beginning of construction on the $40 million three storey project. The hotel will be built around a unique interior garden feature and will include a rooftop cocktail bar, gold glass cinema and a high-end steakhouse. Some have even touted it as a ‘super pub’.

There will be two cinemas, each with a 40-person capacity, and a number of function and training rooms on the first floor. The ground floor will be home to a woodfire pizzeria, a bistro, a café, a sports bar and a function centre.

Marcello Colosimo, CEO of Momento Hospitality Group says “Greenfields and The Perich family have been fantastic to work with and Camden Council have been very efficient and progressive. We are all working together with the goal of bringing a fantastic food and beverage experience to one of the fastest growing suburbs in NSW”.

“It will provide a chance to create memories in all facets of life, whether it be birthday’s through to sporting events, or even just having a casual meal and drink”

The construction is expected to take 18 months to complete, and will be one of the largest pubs in Australia.

Oran Park Tavern plans released

Article in Camden Advertiser – July 2021

The owners of the future Oran Park Hotel have announced that they are hoping to build a second pub in the suburb.

Momento Hospitality, operators of the Bella Vista Hotel, have released plans for the new Oran Park Tavern.

Momento chief executive Marcello Colosimo said the new tavern would have a very different feel to the $38 million Oran Park Hotel, which was approved by the Sydney Western City Planning Panel last year.

“We consider Oran Park Hotel to be one the best high-end pubs in NSW, Oran Park Tavern will have more of a neighbourhood feel to it,” he said.

“The hotel is a three-storey premium venue with a high-end steakhouse, a gold class cinema and a rooftop bar.

“Oran Park Tavern will have an in-house brewery and a smoked meat concept restaurant called Fire and Brimstone, where we will sell everything from brisket to whole pigs.

“It will have rooms for private functions and a kids play area too.”

Mr Colosimo said the new pub would have a ‘friendly’ feel.

“We wanted to create a homely, neighbourhood-style pub that the community would be proud to call its own,” he said.

“We also wanted to make beer brewed right here in Oran Park.

“This will be the third brewery we have opened so we’ll be able to make beer, non-alcoholic beer, ginger beer, seltzers and some spirits.”

Momento Hospitality has submitted a development application to Camden Council for approval.

Mr Colosimo said he expected the approval and construction process to take at least three years.

Oran Park Hotel: Construction set to begin late 2021

Article in Macarthur Chronicle – July 2021

It is the ‘super pub’ one booming suburb in south west Sydney has dreamt of for years. Now, it is edging closer with hopes of the doors opening as soon as 2022.

Oran Park is arguably the country’s fastest growing suburb across the past decade, transforming from rolling paddocks to the desired home of thousands of families.

In its short history, the town has welcomed a shopping centre, a library, multistorey office buildings and apartment complexes, a water splash park, skate park, and a number of sporting fields and playgrounds.

However, when locals aged 18 and over close their eyes at night there is only one thing they dream of – their very own “super pub”.

Oran Park Hotel, a three-storey ‘super-pub’ touted to be one of the greatest pubs in all of Sydney, could be in action by late next year with plans lodged with council to launch construction on the $38 million project.

The unique entertainment facility will feature a rooftop cocktail lounge, a picturesque beer garden, first class restaurant and bistro as well as a woodfire pizzeria and cafe planned for the ground floor.

Two cinemas, each with a 40-person capacity, are planned for the first floor of the entertainment complex alongside a number of function rooms.

‘Super-pub’ proposed for Oran Park

A glistening super pub standing three storeys high, decked out with its own gold class cinema complex has been proposed for one of Sydney’s youngest suburbs, Oran Park.

The multimillion-dollar entertainment precinct would signal the coming of age for the town which only a decade ago was a functioning racetrack and the only residents were the grazing cows on empty paddocks.

Now Momento Hospitality, the operators of Bella Vista Hotel, plan to deliver one of the Sydney’s leading pub and entertainment venues to the Camden area – the fastest growing region in Australia.

The unique entertainment facility would feature a rooftop cocktail lounge, a picturesque beer garden, first class restaurant and bistro as well as a woodfire pizzeria and cafe planned for the ground floor. Two cinemas, each with a 40-person capacity, is planned for the first floor of the entertainment complex alongside a number of function rooms.

Momento Hospitality CEO Marcello Colosimo said he couldn’t wait to join the growing Oran Park community.

“Oran Park Tavern is going to have the best of the best”, he said.

“It’s going to be one of the best pubs in Sydney and locals will have the opportunity to not travel out of the area to get it.

“It will provide a chance to create memories in all facets of life, whether that be birthdays through to sporting events, or even just having a casual drink”.

Plans were lodged to Camden Council last week with Mr Colosimo hopeful of construction beginning mid-2020, pending approvals.
